Products and items that may be certified:

(1) Construction stone: Large panels, flat panels, and uniquely shaped products.

(2) Household stone products: Furniture, utensils, kitchenware, bathroom, office supplies, funerary and cinerary urns, and other related products.

(3) Aesthetic stones: stone sculptures and other decorative stone products (includes installation art, sculptures, accessories, and other related stone products).

(4) Artificial stone: Synthetic and processed stone materials created by combining natural stone particles and other chemical additives that include adhesives, of which at least 92% of the product is made using natural stone particles.

Artificial stone: Every step taken to complete the product from forming, sawing, grinding / polishing, and packaging has been completed in Taiwan.

(1) Safety standards: Per attachment 1.

(2) Functional standards: Per attachment 2.

(3) Product labeling inspection standards: Products applying for certification must comply with the regulations prescribed in Commodity Labeling Act - Labeling Criteria for Commodities.

For companies applying for the certification of stone products of different styles but of the same material and same series may be tested as a single product. However, a list of styles and photographs of products of different styles within the same series must be provided as reference for product identification.

Applicants applying for product certification or extended certification shall provide 1 set of sample at their own expense. Additional samples may be requested according to test requirements.
